The game takes place solely in Windfal, or more commonly known as the 'City of Arts'. It is said that the greatest art works ever to be created originated from there, as well as many renowed talents have come before to seek inspiration from. Players will bear the role of one particular young man by the name of Weiss Cauvas, a second-year student in Windfal Academy of Fine Arts (WAFA). Many would view Weiss's current lifestyle as typically-normal, in fact it was, at least until a particular fox-like creature came into his life. 'Noir' was its name. As mysterious as its appearance, it was constantly bugging Weiss to 'investigate the underground cavern', and never gave a good reason for it. Weiss was never a keen one on such things, however, one could only tolerate a limited amount of verbal-abuse before finally giving in - and that was what happened to him. To seek help was not an option, as it seemed that Noir was not visible to others; causing him to even question his own sanity at times. Thus, he finally took the initiative to check out this 'cavern'. Noir then reveals the location of the cavern entrance. And alas, it is in Weiss's very own school compound! What mystery does this underground cavern holds? Who/what exactly is Noir? And why come to him? Weiss will not only find the answers he seek, but get caught up in a string of twisted ambitions as he unravel even darker secrets...of Windfal - city of arts!
